Dave called me today, Monday August 16th, just prior to 10:00 am. He had gotten to Shelter Cove and his faxed maps were waiting for him. See Shelter Cove on PCT Half Mile maps Oregon section D page 10. Shelter Cove is at PCT mile 1912.5. He spent about an hour resupplying and then hit the trail again.
Tonight, a little after 8:00, Dave's Spot came in. He's made it to PCT mile 1924, camping next to Bobby Lake. Check out PCT Half Mile map, Oregon section E, page 2 (towards the bottom of the page).
