Dave's Spot came in tonight at 8:30. He made it into Mazama Village where his next box of resupplies are waiting for him. He's getting Zero's extra backpack, replacing the one he has that has a broken chest strap. He'll be sending back his broken pack along with his SD card of pictures.
Dave had thought a few days ago that he'd make it into Crater Lake tomorrow. I'm sure he's excited to get in a day early.
Zero and Fire Marshall tonight are camping approximately where Dave was camping last night, PCT mile 1807 or 1808. They are hoping to see Dave at Crater Lake. If Dave hangs around tomorrow he'll see them tomorrow evening. We'll have to wait until Dave checks in to see what his plans are - or watch for tomorrow night's Spot.
