King's Castle

It is Tuesday, August 3rd. Dave's Spot once again did not send out an email. The Spot for Team Far Sight did show up at 7:55 pm. Looks like they are camping on the PCT close to King's Castle.

See PCT Half Mile Map California section Q, page 5 at PCT mile 1636.5. If they were really only at PCT mile 1609 or 1610 last night, they really made great distance today!

This section Q of the PCT California section will take the guys to PCT mile 1662. They should be at that mile marker by Thursday. Tomorrow and Thursday will be mostly down hill. Talking to Dave and Zero, they will tell you they enjoy the uphill much more than the down hill. These old guys are talking about their sore knees when going down hill. Hopefully they won't be in too much pain.
