Jane dropped Dave and Trevor off back on Lake View road.
Dave and Trevor trekked 17.4 miles to Mt. Emma Road and Angeles Forest Highway. While the downside was that it was a road walk, the upside was that it was a cool day (it even snowed in the foothills that day) and he had the help of 3 trail angels along the way.
Dave camped in a wash right off the road - where the temperature was cool and dropped to a mere 30 degrees.
