Dave Amanda, and Andrew headed out at 7:30 in the morning. Along the way they passed Danny, who was a young guy, Max Chill, and World Wide. Danny's best trick was getting a rattle snake to move off the trail. They first tried to use rocks to scare the snake away - but it just angered the snake. But then Danny brought out his reflective umbrella - which confused the snake as to the location of the heat source. The snake then straightened out and slithered off the trail.
After that - the trail was just criss-crossing through sandstone cliffs, that had eroded. The cliffs were steep, but interesting. Within four hours they made the trek to the 15 freeway and then headed less than a mile up the hill to McDonalds to get some grub. Dave had a great day - and thought Amanda and Andrew did great.
Then it was back home for another BBQ with friends and Team FarSight.
