Day 32 (Apple White Campground to Guffy Campground)

Start Location: Apple White Campground near Lytle Creek

Finish Location: Guffy Campground

Dave got an early start and left camp at 7:30 a.m. He hiked up Lytle Creek road and past the shooting range. From there he followed the Jeep road for the final 6.5 miles of the detour that connected back to the PCT.

From there he hiked to Guffy Campground and entered the Angeles Forest.

Guffy was a nice campground, but it was very windy.

Overall, the day was a tough uphill hike that included a hike down the side of a snow covered mountain just to get water.
