Dave's Spot came in tonight, Monday October 17th at 6:30 pm. He is camping at PCT mile 1272.3, just north of Buck's Lake Road. See the PCT Half Mile map California Section M page 9.

Today, Dave climbed from just over 3000 feet to 6000 feet back down to 5500 feet and then ending back just over 3000 feet. Tomorrow he'll hike up to 7000 feet and then drop down to just over 2000 feet when he gets into the town of Belden.
