Another day in Chester

Dave talked to his daughter Amanda and his parents today. It's been a great time for him to catch up with family.

He hesitated going outside today because it was constantly raining. Watching the local news, there are may car accidents in the mountains around Chester. He finally braved the weather, did his laundry, did some shopping, went bowling, and got some dinner.

Dave actually ran to the bowling alley (because of the water). He really misses running. He bowled three games. He had to do something because sitting in his room was driving him crazy. He picked up a crossword puzzle book, needing some additional entertainment.

We are watching the weather around Chester and Old Station, California. Dave is hoping to get on the trail Monday, even though it may still be raining. He needs it to stop in time to set up camp and he'd be happy. With another storm coming, he may have to stop in another town to wait out the weather. We'll have another update on the weather tomorrow.
