Dave's Spot came in around 7:25 pm Labor Day, September 6th. He is camping at PCT mile 2341.3, just prior to Scout Pass Trail junction. He called prior to the end of his hiking with very spotty cell phone service. He let me know that although he was tired and wanted to stop for the day, he had to keep going because he needed water. He had some, so he didn't have to reach water, but Dave is thorough. He has never run out of water because water is always on his mind. He's not taking any chances. We'll see, next time he calls, if he located that water he was looking for!

You can check out his location on the PCT Half Mile maps Washington Section I page 6.

Zero, Fire Marshall, and Redhead hit their Spot about two minutes after Dave hit his tonight. They are camping at PCT mile 2334.2 at the south end of Sheep Lake. You can check out their location at the PCT Half Mile maps Washington Section I page 5. The boys are separated by 7 miles. It's great to see that they are staying really close - 7 miles is only 2-3 hours of hiking.
