Tonight's SPOT came in at 7:22, which means camp was set up and dinner should have already been eaten. Dave and his hiking partners are at PCT mile 829, around 8700 feet. They hiked about 15 miles today. They are in Grouse Meadow following the Middle Fork river. I'm sure Dave is wishing he had his casting rod. Being near a river without the ability to fly fish must be killing him. You can check out the PCT half mile map, California Section H, page 11.
